Love is a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection ("I love my mother") to pleasure ("I loved that meal"). It can refer to an emotion of a strong attraction and personal attachment. It can also be a virtue representing human kindness, compassion, and affection—"the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another". It may also describe compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one's self or animals. To many people have forgotten what the true meaning of what love is. The Bible says this about love: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. So when someone tells you that they love you do they really? I've been in relationships over the years in my life and I can say that I've truly felt and received love. My pride of not really knowing and understanding what it was I couldn't accept it. I feel sometimes the main reason is because I didn't love myself first. We all have to examine our life. Look at yourself now, your relationship and life in this very present. Is it a reflection of Love? Comments are closed.
